Spring Break is almost over. This break has been relaxing and wonderful. I spent four days in Portland Oregon with a few friends I work with at the academy, originally I had planned to go alone and live the life of a portland hipster for a few days, in the end I am happier that I spent time with others. We stayed in a hostel close to many of Portlands main attractions. As you can see in the picture above we also visited Canon Beach. That had to be my favorite part of the trip I saw a star fish for the first time not in an aquarium, the waves crashing on the beach, the feel of sand underneath my feet for the first time since Christmas.
Break has allowed me to have a ton of time to think. I am trying to learn how to rely on God more, it is a lot easier said then done. For an example after August 2013 I have no plans. I am not freaking out about my future like I was last year, but I still spend my time worrying and planning all the things that I think are important.
I am not going to pretend to be an eloquent writer, forever I have been intimidated by those bloggers who have confidence in there writing and grammar skills I am not one of those. I would like the opportunity to relay my thoughts and feeling on a somewhat regular basis though so here I am.
